Handcrafted Wood Bowl | Belize Zoo

$ 48

These are items I brought back from The Belize Zoo gift shop in an effort to raise money for them. The pandemic hit while I was volunteering there, so I witnessed firsthand the massive toll it took, and is still taking, on this crucial non-profit establishment. By purchasing this one of a kind item, you are supporting a truly amazing cause.

The Belize Zoo is non-profit organization home to over 200 animals, representing over 45 native species. The Zoo houses animals which were orphaned, rescued, born at the zoo, have special needs or are rehabilitated animals, or sent to The Belize Zoo as donations from other zoological institutions. Animals are never bred for captivity. The Belize Zoo does extremely important conservation work throughout the country, such as protecting hundreds of acres of land in the wildlife corridor and doing local outreach and education for schools. Your purchase will directly impact the Zoo's ability to feed and care for their animals, staff, and continue their conservation work.
