Rare Mabs Original Late 30s or 1940s Nude Blush Nylon/Latex Bathing Suit
In the mid 1930s, California swimsuit maker Mabs of Hollywood began to fashion swimwear from Lastex, a woven satin finish elastic and silk material first used for girdle manufacture. Mabs made sure of its success by making suits for Joan Crawford, Loretta Young, and Jean Harlow.
We somehow got our hands on this absolutely gorgeous Mabs piece in the best nude/blush tone. The cut and seaming of this suit is insane and so beautiful and flattering! This would look incredible under a pair of jeans, or as its meant to be worn as a swimsuit. This bathing suit has a sexy low-cut back, zipper and hidden hook and eye closure at back, and adjustable straps so you can make it longer or shorter to fit as you'd like.
Very good. There is a light stripe across front, most likely from the bathing suit being folded in a drawer for many years. Very small dark green mark on front.
